2024 – 2025

• This project, first initiated by IWC Ege in 2018, has since been carried out by all District 244 Clubs to
  vaccinate girls against cervical cancer.









• Since 2023, we have received earthquake aid funds from IIW. Starting in the 2023-2024 term with 400,000 TL and continuing in the current 2024-2025 term with 411,000 TL, and 200,000 TL, we have donated a total of 1,011,000 TL to Darüşşafaka, a leading foundation supporting orphans in Turkey. Our contribution will support their “We Provide
  Education, You Provide Shelter” project, which aims to build and improve boarding school campuses for children who lost their parents in the 2023 earthquake.




• In addition to our support for Darussafaka, to further our commitment, we have established the Inner Wheel 244th District Scholarship Fund at Turkish Education Foundation (TEV) and made a donation of 225,500 TRY. This contribution goes towards the “Don’t Leave It Unfinished Scholarship Fund”, which helps provide college education for deserving students in need. Specifically, our donation will support a young girl studying law in İzmir, whose education was disrupted by the devastating earthquake.





• Carried out by IWC Izmir in collaboration with the Faculty of Agriculture at Ege University for the past three years, this project aims to improve women’s knowledge and skills in agricultural production, marketing, and their participation in economic life. Participants receive both theoretical and practical training, with a focus on environmental sustainability, and earn certificates upon completion.
